What happens after I pay?
Your own instance is built automatically — its own container, its own database, on your own address. It is usually ready within a few minutes, and we email you the link as soon as it is.
Can I start small and add a module later?
Yes, and that is the point of the split. A module can be switched on for you without rebuilding anything or losing data, and switching one off leaves everything it recorded in place.
What if I need something none of the editions covers?
That is the other half of what we do. Tell us what the work looks like and we will quote building it — either as part of your instance or as a system beside it.
Can I bring my history over from the system I use now?
Yes — that is the Data migration module. Customers, vendors, your chart of accounts and your transactions come across and are rebuilt as IC Accounting documents, so your first report is your real history rather than an opening balance. We map it with you first and run it twice: once to check, once for real.
Is my data mine?
Entirely. It is your instance and your database, cloud attachments stay in your own Drive or Dropbox account, and you can ask for an export at any time.
How do I get help?
Through the support centre, and the people answering are the people who wrote it. There is no first-line script between you and an engineer.
